Easy. Peasy. But. Still.

Tonight the littlest little girl had her first school concert.  It was the cutest.  Thing.  Ever.  They read two books and then actually created their own songs based upon the stories of the books.  Many of you may be reading this and thinking ‘yeah…my kid did that two years ago…big whoop.’  Well fine, but it was darling, and the songs were so well written and offered lovely messages like “If I Can Do It You Can Too,” and “I Am Brave.”  And in case you were wondering, my littlest little girl, the one who forgets to turn in homework, easily gets distracted, and with whom I plough through homework like we are fighting an epic battle every day, that little girl knew every dance move, every facial expression, every single word, and she did remarkable.  It was so good.  SHE was so good.

So good, and it kept us so late, and we had to get the puppy outside for a bit, and to the gym, and now I have to leave the house for work in less than eight hours, and I’m so so sleepy.

Thus, this will be short and sweet, you know…easy peasy but still a “what if” nonetheless.

As you know, I’m battling injuries, but in the mean time my arms have taken on a life of their own.  And not in a solid, buff, or Michelle Obama kind of way.  Remember when I first started this blog and I said “what if I did push-ups every day?  I can’t imagine it would make my arms worse!”  Yeah, okay fine, let’s just put that to the test shall we?  And while we’re at it, let’s throw in some sit-ups, if it works for the Army…

TODAY:  What if I do 25 push-ups and 50 sit-ups every day?

PS – You know those moments when suddenly you look around and think ‘Oh my God.  So this is what this feels like.  Wow.’  That happened today.  And if I weren’t falling asleep at the wheel (laptop), and if I didn’t have to be up for work at 5am, and if I felt even a teensy bit articulate at this very moment, I would write about it.  Instead I’m saving it for tomorrow.

PPS – Sorry for the teaser but a girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do.  See you back here tomorrow!
