About

I’m Carrie Monroe O’Keefe, and this is my blog.  In 2012 I started a blog called The Year of What If.  I wrote diligently in 2012, less so in 2013, and limped through a few posts in 2014.  In the years since then, many people have told me they used to love reading it, and I thought that was very kind and likely charitable, but it never occurred to me to go back to blogging.  Because I’m busy.

By day, I’m in sales and marketing, by night I raise two girls and a goldendoodle.  I have good friends I rarely get to see, I’m a writer and I rarely sit down to write, I try to get to the gym, I attempt to walk my dog, I have a house to attend to, and frankly there are days (weeks) that I feel like I’m doing a terrible job at all of that.  Why on earth would blogging again be a good idea?!

Because I love it.  I really do.  And I think the joy it brings me might make everything else in my life better too.  In which case, what choice do I have?!
